We are better together 💪🏼
Yesterday, I asked all members of the Legislative Assembly to sign the pledge denouncing threats of separatism and stand proudly with Canadians.

The prosperity and future of our province depend on it. /1

In light of news of mice infesting a yeg continuing care home, we’re calling on the UCP to:

🟠 Immediately invest to ensure seniors in continuing care are in a safe, clean environment

🟠 Establish clearer, more transparent public reporting

🟠 Open more continuing care spaces

Hundreds of Alberta seniors live in this continuing care home.

This infestation is a long-term, ongoing problem and has been raised to the gov’t multiple times. Seniors deserve safe, clean, and dignified living arrangements in long-term care centres!

This is an unacceptable standard for Albertans living in continuing care!!

We are calling for immediate investments to ensure seniors in continuing care are in a safe and clean environment, as they deserve!!

This UCP government is not working for Albertans!
We need a government that prioritizes making life more affordable.

Alberta's New Democrats proposed real solutions, such as tackling shrinkflation at the grocery store, capping auto insurance rate increases, and increasing the minimum wage.

The UCP voted NO to every. single. one.
January 20, 2026 at 3:44 PM
Yes, a blatant attempt to distract from the serious damage the UCP have caused to our healthcare system - putting every single Albertan at risk.
Danielle Smith is entirely responsible for allowing this separatist rhetoric to continue. It’s also a distraction from the real issues facing Alberta right now, like the health care crisis in our hospitals and emergency rooms.

You deserve better. For Alberta and for Canada.

We are so much better than the divisiveness being stoked by the UCP
A question I keep hearing from folks across Canada is pretty simple: “What the heck is going on in Alberta?” It’s a fair question, given all the headlines lately.

Separatism is a real threat, and it’s time for Canada, politicians and citizens alike, to act.
January 18, 2026 at 1:15 AM
Every Albertan is at risk due to the UCP’s relentless attacks and chronic neglect of our public healthcare system.
Yesterday, it was announced that Alberta hospitals are at 102% capacity.

Doctors, patients, and families are sounding the alarm, but the government won't admit there is a crisis or say who is in charge.

That is not a safe health care system. Albertans deserve so much better.

Vaccines are safe and effective. Get yours today!!
Alberta’s flu vaccination rates are dangerously low, and our healthcare system is feeling the impact. Getting vaccinated helps protect lives and helps keep the pressure off emergency rooms.

It’s not too late: book your flu shot today.

Anyone in Edmonton or Alberta could require emergency healthcare at any moment. But thanks to the endless UCP healthcare cuts and attacks, that care may not be there when you need it.
That is a crisis.
January 13, 2026 at 9:13 PM
When doctors are calling on the government to intervene in an access to healthcare crisis the government MUST respond!
🚨 Overcrowded
🚨 Unsafe
🚨 Stretched beyond capacity

Doctors and patients are sounding the alarm that our hospitals and ERs are in crisis, but the UCP government remains silent.

Albertans should be able to access quality health care when they need it, where they need it. #abhealth #ableg #abpoli

Albertans deserve better than the UCP. #AbLeg
In December, the UCP passed Bill 13, banning professional regulators, like those overseeing doctors & other healthcare workers, lawyers and more, from implementing initiatives to support diversity, equity and inclusion or requiring training in cultural competency. #abpoli

Albertans deserve better!!
When mayors step up to recruit doctors for their cities & towns, it's proof the province has failed to deliver.

ERs are overflowing while many Albertans don't have a family physicians.

We deserve a competent government that delivers on public healthcare.

Albertans deserve a government with a holistic and evidence-based view to improving our public health. And one that will actually support and fight for our public healthcare system!
