So I just got home after a rather annihilating EM shift and sat down to watch SNF and thought to myself “they can’t hurt me more” and then my mother called to tell me she’s going to the ER with what sounds like AFRVR and I realized that they can always hurt you more. #HouseofGod #EM #Medicine

Snacking suggestion: Brazi Bites pão de queijo and Toom garlic dip. Both at Costco. Both great individually but together divine. Sure, you can make better pão de queijo at home if you have access to the ingredients. But these are so quick and easy and they scratch the itch.

So, that sucked, but I then went for a lovely nocturnal swim which is a thing you can do in November in Florida (air temp 52, water temp 84) and I’m OK again. I learned many years ago how not to let sports hurt me and I am glad for that tonight. Anyways, as always, #GoPackGo 💛💚🧀💚💛
