I think the reason why I don't object to jokes about Trump sleeping with Bill Clinton while I do object to them mocking Lindsay Graham's effeminacy is that the former would be funny on its face without homosexuality involved; it's absurdist infidelity. The latter only works as a joke via homophobia.
