I never went to many DJ kind of shows and I probably wouldn't have gone to see RJD2 if I hadn't be guest listed and asked record the set for a friend at the theatre. RJD2 was rad though. He is a master in turntablism and it was cool to watch him spin and pull records. I'm glad to have caught the show.
22 years later I have gotten around to processing the recording. I had forgotten how interesting it was and I had totally forgotten that he encores with a super mellow song he sings while playing acoustic guitar. Enjoy.

Decided to expound on this thought. Can the indie-AAA partnership "save" gaming? Sort of. In the sense that it can bail out AAA publishers who are in dire straits and keep small studios working. But it needs to lead to something other than More IP Games. www.polygon.com/aaa-gaming-s...

This is cool! For those who don't know, Black Mesa is a (great!) fan-made HD remake of Half-Life. I'm excited to see what this team does with something new. (And something that is coincidentally very relevant, by the look of it.)

It's hard to capture the sense of despair that accompanies seeing variations of this headline repeat every day. Especially as someone who began a career transition into gamedev 4 years ago. I spend the first hour or two of every day fighting back panic and hopelessness.
The industry is dying a long slow death and every loss hurts.

It's hard to capture the sense of despair that accompanies seeing variations of this headline repeat every day. Especially as someone who began a career transition into gamedev 4 years ago. I spend the first hour or two of every day fighting back panic and hopelessness.
I'm not trying to chase anyone off of playing the game (which I am also playing), but I'm not trying to NOT do that either. I just think this is something to know and probably talk about.
Never would've guessed that the toughest enemy to reckon with in Mewgenics is a Milkshake Duck

Considering the previous "draw down" was purely symbolic, I'm skeptical about what this will functionally mean. That said, for the sake of the people of Minnesota, I pray it's true and that this campaign of terror will soon be over.
