To counteract some of the "alpha" bullshit.

I’ll never stop being amazed that Alex Jones went from warning people about the government setting up camps to firmly embracing the government when they start actually setting up camps.

Holy shit. The single “no” vote on a bill to combat human trafficking is in the running for AG? And a pro-Russian person to direct national intelligence?

May as well plan on keeping the Department of Education around so Boebert can head it up.

Weird Games Workshop question…if someone orders from the site to have it delivered to a local store, does the local store get credit for it as a sale?

Someone asked about mutual aid groups in Texas. I only have experience in Austin, where there are several great ones!

Austinmutualaid.org organizes all kinds of things, including food/water/necessities drop-offs for the unhoused and is a resource pointing to other groups, including…

If you’re going to own guns, you need to commit to learning how to stop bleeding, train regularly and use secure storage. If you plan to carry, you should take force on force training and dynamic stress training. Carrying a gun is a huge responsibility. Shooting accurately is a perishable skill.
I own guns and enjoying recreational shooting. Usually long range. It’s a good way to calm my mind and great stress relief. Learning to shoot helped save my mental health after several painful losses. It also ended up giving me a career focus. I’m a democrat & the NRA/extremists do not represent me.
I kind of see where this is coming from but it seems like people always talk about this in a very broad ideological way. How is owning a gun useful in day to day life?

Having a curious child is great. Until he starts asking medical questions at bed time and I’m basically winging it. “What’s scoliosis? What’s shingles? What can we infer from slower nerve conduction speeds in an EMG?”

Dude, I’m not a doctor and I want to sleep!

The age old question…will enough of my peers get a “Don’t do what Donny Don’t does” reference to make it worth including in a presentation?

In a rare twist, I'm working at a place that has some training budget available. Any recommendations for courses, particularly on leadership in/around program management?
