Watched the halftime show. I guess where I fundamentally depart from MAGA is that, when I see something like this, celebrating a culture that's not quite mine, with some references I don't get, something that's not For Me ... I *like* it. I like seeing inside other worlds. Why wouldn't you?

Pro tip: If one feels compelled to attempt to whitewash a man who pled guilty to solicitation of prostitution from a minor under the age of 18 (the initial accuser was 14) and who died awaiting trial for sex trafficking minors, try not to use the phrase โaspiring sugar babies.โ

Around 2020, we were told that US political & corporate elites had been gripped by "wokeness" & thus become obsessed with climate change & diversity. This wokeness was alleged to be so severe & monomaniacal that it threatened the entire culture & economy.
