It's both, and failing to accept use cases also misses the mark. AI in Lit Crit functions like Sparknotes before it.
If anything it *strengthens* the human in humanities by showing the limitations of machines so people have easier access to the knowledge gaps that only their minds can fill.
I’m going to say it again, generative AI and the push for it to be used in every Avenue of learning and education is because generative AI literally is a weapon for knowledge destruction not a knowledge creation tool and silicon valleys goal is to monetize and gate off all of human knowledge
The more this is explained the worse it appears.

Baby girl fuck you. Grown men are NOT coming into my house looking for a goddamn thing. I’ll sue you bitches to the STRATOSPHERE

I just listened to blowback.show s2 bonus 5 "Massive Retaliation", including the Eisenhower era provisional plan to semi-descriminantly drop dozens of nuclear bombs throughout the world as a deterrent to communism. It's reminding me of something? Current? hm

Blowback Season 6's trailer is out and its going to be about Angola- I'm very excited. I'm a big fan of the program and Noah Kulwin is a good friend. No one seems to have posted it on Bluesky both because it has only appeared on twitter and its more than a minute long (damn Bluesky!), so I will

I’m going to start publishing the pieces I’m a little shy about for paid subscribers. Welcome to the hole in the wall where you can see it all ❤️

This one is about how sometimes you can serve and be served at the same time.

I’ll still publish public ones too!

Rhetorical mindset is how we got here. Narcissism breeds projection that serves authoritarianism and bolsters it with a culture of disinformation. We have tech emperors who aim to arbitrate reality by basing policy and economy entirely on models and simulated hypotheticals that validate their status

Branches of government

Congress: the weakest branch, as it can only pass messaging bills, give more power to the other branches, or shut down

President: can do anything, if Republican; otherwise checked by the third branch

Fifth Circuit Court: this is the branch that includes the Supreme Court
