Makes you appreciate how unlikely her ascent was & how tumultuous those years as PM were.
Despite it all, she was so right for that moment in NZ’s history.
It reinforced my view that we were lucky to have had her.

Been in awe of Jane Goodall since I was a young teenager. This has grown to respect and reverence over the years.

As she walked on to the podium at the second presentation, she stopped, looked at me and said “you again!??”
I turned red.
