The aftermath, from one bad social episode, really shows you who your actual friends are. Not that I thought most of them were really my friends anyway. They belonged to someone else.
I'm still angry about it and it's time to focus that energy into something constructive, like going to the gym.

I got incredibly bummed out last night. I think the realization hit me that the social circles I had built up (on VRC) all encompass an individual who has mistreated me so badly that I can't stand to be in the same instance as them anymore. I've already blocked them, for my own sanity.

I should be happier about 2025. I had a lot of wins and more than a few losses. I--at least--feel more financially secure than I ever had been in the past.
There's just one thing that overshadows all of it and has me gravely worried. As long as he remains, I'm unsure I'll ever be truly happy again.

I find it absolutely telling that upper management and hr have to host a training to simplify goal statements and write clearer resumes.
I realize they're probably getting bitched at on both sides, but I think you could use an iota of intelligence to actually do your damned job.

If you're a deer that was at MFF, at the Hyatt Regency, that went thru TSA Precheck at ORD Terminal 5 at 8:45am, you left your deer head base on the conveyor! I stood with it for 15 mins hoping you'd come back, then told a TSA agent what it was (+ how $$ it is) and they put it at their front desk 🙏
