The furry fandom is going to become a lifeline and anchor for so many people. A place where they can still be themselves, safely.

This show I wrote for my master’s thesis in 2012 is probably a little saccharine, but maybe it will bring someone a needed boost.

1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?

Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.

Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!
2026 Trans Girl Scouts To Order Cookies From!
This year, consider ordering your Girl Scout cookies from a trans girl scout to make their day!

Gently, some of y’all have got to recover from being called “weird” in high school and start blocking people instead of trying to convince them you’re not. Be weird and distance yourself from the people who are too embarrassed to be weird themselves.

Please PLEASE NOTE: This is just dark thoughts and not anything I believe seriously

But I’m starting to feel like the people trying to foist GenAI on us for creative tasks deserve to have the language center of the brain excised.

More bad art. This one is a problem of technique. The stars were to be done with a stencil. But the paint just made blobs, so I had to touch up by hand.

This is symbolism from the LARP I play

I have too many.

I’m going to skip a buuuunch of obvious choices and list some relatively obscure shit.

Part of these being favorites isn’t because they’re great but because I got them at the toy store equivalent of Ross/TJX and I had to learn to play them.

Y’all. I’m gonna be honest, I don’t have the time, energy, or spoons to boycott even a tenth of the things that deserve it.
And I’m tired of never being allowed to just enjoy something, because I didn’t watch a six hour video essay and read three books before buying a thing.

The artist behind these has been doing this longer than most of us and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy the breadth of her work. She needs heart surgery and could really use community support atm

If I don’t post about this stuff it’s not because I don’t care.

No cheating, repost with the most recent photo of your pet

These are of Columbo.

I really like watercolor pencils as a medium. My actual drawing skills are dogshit though. I made the mistake of dating an artist whose attempts at complimenting my art unintentionally came across as condescension.

So I never disciplined myself enough to do the work to get better.

Making bad art in 2026.

Because I need to remember to try things.

Sitting a stewing in frustration isn't nearly as cathartic as just designing a poster. Let's see how often I remember that in 2026.

Remember this from the 90s? No??? That's because I woke up with a splitting migraine today, and my malfunctioning synapses invented this abomination. I hyperfixated on it for several terrifying minutes while immobilized in bed. It haunted me all day, so here's my rendition of it.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
