And you know what's most annoying? In those moments, you know rationally how much luck is involved in these things and the rejections are not personal or about the quality of your writing necessarily, but it will still bring you down.

I completely agree. This is my third #revpit and second novel I submitted. I did not expect to win but you have to keep trying. Don't give up #writing
This still feels unreal! I submitted a different novel to #RevPit in 2023 and it wasn’t featured in any capacity, so winning the chance to work with an editor this time around came as a true surprise.

I've seen a few subposts today that tell me this needs saying: #RevPit isn’t a contest that rewards the “best” book. It’s one opportunity, shaped by timing, taste, and editorial capacity. Not a judgment on your future in publishing.
