I’ve never seen an EU leader with this kind of energy.
There’s a genre of TikTok comment, usually on American politics videos but also things like frosh weeks, that is “I’m too European for this. What is going on?” Here is is in column form

Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵
Not as quietly as they had hoped, apparently.

Well done @theintercept.com

Good question!

The reaction has been dramatized for effect. Realistically, once people hear that the fossil fuel industry is trying to turn us against each other, they will follow it up with their own research.

While indeed not scientifically field-tested, frankly, neither is climate denialism.
Second time in a few days of me reposting about people of colour being sacked from their journalism jobs in the U.S.

Climate change will hurt Canada's GDP more than previously thought.

The cost of inaction to curb growing greenhouse gas emissions could mean a 21 per cent hit to Canada’s GDP by the end of 2070, according to a new economic analysis www.nationalobserver.com/2025/10/29/n...

1. It's fascinating to see, as you can from the responses to the post below, how many daft things people believe, to justify their continued meat eating. So let's examine a few of the common myths in the following thread. 🧵
For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.
Remember this, whenever someone says "alternative proteins - yuck!"

The fact that an international body needed to respond to the unscientific verbal emissions of some scrote-faced wheeze bag is a pretty sad indicator of this dopey timeline.
