The proposed cuts to Medicaid will lower the quality of life of every single American no matter how they access healthcare. The last time this was proposed it was disabled people who did all of the hard work to stop it. Do not leave this to disabled people again. Get in the trenches.

Academic institutions in the US need to seriously consider how they will support and protect their minority faculty during this time. The conditions we face are already hostile for most - targeted attacks and added barriers to advancement will push many to simply walk away.

Universities will have an even harder time recruiting women and people of color (especially women of color) into administrative positions now… this whole thing is so tragic and racist. All those DEI promises made in 2020 were so empty and it’s still shocking to see how far the white backlash goes

I study children's books. Me and lots of my friends have been threatened. A lot. Over BOOKS FOR KIDS.

It's not the position or discipline. It's the fact we exist in these spaces at all.
