PTSD disproportionately affects service members. In an RCT, RISE—an interoception-based training—reduced PTSD symptoms indirectly by increasing acceptance of uncomfortable internal sensations.
In an RCT of active-duty SMs and veterans, RISE (our interoception intervention) improved acceptance of internal sensations, which mediated reductions in PTSD severity at follow-up. Findings highlight interoceptive acceptance as a transdiagnostic mechanism. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Loved getting to give this talk on dealing with rejections...turns out talking about getting rejected is very cathartic. And hopefully helps normalize the process. Because trust me, I get rejected ALL. THE. TIME.
