When “OCD” is used as an adjective, it trivializes and invalidates the real suffering and courage of people living with this serious and debilitating condition.

We captured 30-day emotion intensity & dysregulation data from EMA & examined in relation to cortisol (from hair) during the same period. Emotion intensity & hair cortisol levels were significantly associated among women with high (but not low) emotion dysregulation.

And yet, I know how important it is to savor moments like this.

A significant shift in incentive structures within training sites, universities, and licensing/accreditation bodies seems necessary. A move from cost-savings to trainee well-being.
Now is the time for programs to unite for our students. What is required? I assume we need to advocate to every state licensing board? APA, APPIC, and PCSAS? Change every doctoral handbook nationally? This is potentially a huge undertaking but so important. Does anyone know the steps to take?
