This is my deepest take if you want to cut the NYT cooking cord.
I think America Test Kitchen is an underrated resource and deserves the credit that people heap upon NYT cooking. It's a superior resource and not just because of my anti-NYT bias. The recipes are well tested but aren't as persnickety as Serious Eats.
