Everyone knows that our current health care system is broken.

That’s why over 60% of the American people support Medicare for All.

The day will come when every man, woman and child in this country will have health care as a human right.

We’re going to win this fight.

#OTD in 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a bus to a white person (required by law on a full bus).

This sparked the Montgomery bus system boycott & led to the 1956 Supreme Court decision banning segregation on public transportation.

A defining moment. #CivilRights

On this day in 1955 Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat. For 381 days people boycotted the buses. They walked, carpooled and organized every single day until segregation cracked. Nothing will change today without that same resolve. Freedom isn’t granted, it's taken one step at a time. #Resist
