I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Can we stop pretending individuals with guns are going to stop ICE? There are reasons the 2nd amendment specified "well-regulated militia." Unless you have better training than ICE, confronting them while armed is suicide.
Um, if you point a firearm at an ICE agent they won't hesitate to turn you into swiss cheese.
So while the 2nd amendment might have protected citizens in the 18th century, that's because the worst the military had were cannons.
