I adopted a special needs bird without realizing it; if the humane society knew about Tweaker's bad eyesight, they didn't mention it on her vet report, only "poor husbandry." Many finches end up in shelters as the less-show-worthy birds don't bring in much $. They're all adorbs tho. #adoptdontshop
