The numbers speak volumes:

When you’re losing over 95% of the federal cases you’re involved in even though you’re the United States Government and get the benefit of the doubt, maybe you’re just not obeying the rule of law!
Stunning. May was brutal for Trump in federal court: 96% loss rate ⚖️. Even GOP-appointed judges have ruled against the admin 72% of the time. District courts are doing their job defending the Constitution. Soon the Supreme Court may be the only court unwilling to defend the rule of law.

Black Americans make up 13% of the population. But as federal government employees, Black employees are:

20% of the Dept. of Health & Human Services
24% of the Dept. of Veterans Affairs
26% of postal workers,
30% of the Dept. of Education

That's the "swamp" Trump is draining.
How Trump’s War on the Federal Government Will Stifle Black Progress
For generations, government jobs helped build the Black middle class. With Trump and Elon Musk’s DOGE, those days may be over.

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

Far right extremists are okay destroying Medicaid for “Black people in the ghetto.”

Just as long as they are not their voters.

These are sick people.

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

Reagan had the War on Drugs.
Bush had the War on Terror….

Then Trump came along and let the cat out of the bag that it was all a War on Democratic Government.

Once we begin to understand that there is no longer a consensus support for liberal democracy, the sooner those of us who are pro-democracy can find common ground.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO
