Bacterial vaginosis, or BV, is the most common vaginal infection worldwide. Gynecologists long viewed it as solely a women’s issue until a new study. Here's what researchers found.
Bacterial Vaginosis Is No Longer Thought to Affect Only Women
Gynecologists long viewed bacterial vaginosis as solely a women’s issue — until a study that treated their male partners, too, proved otherwise.

This doesn’t surprise me because time is not something that can be solved probalistically?
As a personal assistant, ChatGPT is remarkably, annoyingly bad at this one basic thing.

I have been thinking about Trump’s stupid marble armrests for the Kennedy Centre for three days now because that is such an insanely stupid and tacky decorating decision for a theatre (and uncomfortable!). I am not surprised, just grossed out.

I love my Samsung TV. It is from 2011 weighs 40 lbs, but it predates motion smoothing and works without connecting to the Internet.

Honestly will probably wind up willing it to my child.
got a new samsung TV and thought i'd set up its native OS instead of using our apple TV to save on cables/attachments, and there's a homescreen "now playing" widget that just keeps showing the last thing you were watching on any streaming service, rolling into the next ep, and you CANNOT TURN IT OFF

Leaving out ‘and wallowing in far Right agitprop’ after ‘welfare of animals’ seems like a clear editorial choice.

I am not a coder, but I would think that getting a text prediction machine to write all your code — even if you debug it — would present a massive security risk?

Obviously these stories are nonsense, but you have to think that getting rid of Peter Thiel could only have a bullish impact on nearby property values. Like performing an exorcism.

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.

This is what the elites who installed Trump did it for. Not the only reason, but the main one. This is the explicit outcome they were trying to engineer.
The unemployment rate for Black workers soared to 8.3% in November. That's more than double the rate for white workers.

As a reminder, Rob Reiner acted as Marty Di Bergi in ‘This is Spinal Tap’, and the classic ‘It Goes to Eleven’ scene works because of how well he plays the straight man in it.

If we lived in a less bananas reality, a major infrastructure priority for every government would be replacing the highly flammable, expensive to maintain domestic gas network with induction, heat pumps and district heating. Not only for climate reasons but because it is better tech and healthier.
A gas line explosion caused a horrific scene in a Bay Area city on Thursday, injuring at least six people and starting a major neighborhood fire. Two people remained unaccounted for, an official said.

It should be noted how stupid all of this is, which is perhaps appropriate for the year 2025, in which most of the economy consists of reckless gambling on AI. People spent more than $55m betting on the Time Person of the Year on Polymarket, $19m on Kalshi.
