I have been thinking about Trump’s stupid marble armrests for the Kennedy Centre for three days now because that is such an insanely stupid and tacky decorating decision for a theatre (and uncomfortable!). I am not surprised, just grossed out.

I love my Samsung TV. It is from 2011 weighs 40 lbs, but it predates motion smoothing and works without connecting to the Internet.

got a new samsung TV and thought i'd set up its native OS instead of using our apple TV to save on cables/attachments, and there's a homescreen "now playing" widget that just keeps showing the last thing you were watching on any streaming service, rolling into the next ep, and you CANNOT TURN IT OFF

If we lived in a less bananas reality, a major infrastructure priority for every government would be replacing the highly flammable, expensive to maintain domestic gas network with induction, heat pumps and district heating. Not only for climate reasons but because it is better tech and healthier.
