Experimenting with speed paints, left is a marker, right is a green undercoat that's going to go under a dry brush then red contrast paint. Sad they don't sell the gold marker, it's like the same cost as 3 markers with the shipping.

Worked on mr jet bike a little today, things are looking in like for the Thursday deadline. Just the metallics left, and I'm a little happy with the nmm I ended up doing on the glaive.

Ok I lied.*this* will be the last self Indulgent "skin study" I so before I go back to doing what I've been paid to do. Sure the face came a little botched but I am not going to wait another 2 weeks for a replacement. I'll do the other details some other day

A lacrymia tech priest and totally not self indulgent pinup model, she's gonna be used with a servo arm to resurrect 4 tech thralls a turn from a big squad. It's been on my desk for a while, I'm glad to finally get it done. It was a part of my first big push for learning how to do skin.

Just finished playing the mantic games halo flashpoint, it was pretty neat! It reminds me a decent amount of the stalker boardgame.

Experimented with an unhinged color combo of bug mans glow, pastel pink and pastel... Whatever army painter (not fanatic) toxic mist is, over a zenithal coated in bugmans glow. It came out interesting for sure, maybe the bulging veins will be the deciding factor for how neat it looks

my first attempt to paint a color shift gradient*.
PA Jade shifting to PA Turquoise, using various levels on both progressively thinned with Vallejo Thinning Medium. Reasonably pleased, not up there with the airbrush stuff, but I don't and can't set up for an airbrush, so there ya go.

And it's done! A classic 90% build from me, all that's left is a topcoat, but that would be finishing it so I'm not gonna do it.
Apparently this kit is super good, I didn't know, it was fun enough but I'm glad it's over with. I'll do a master grade next, then Perfect grade... Probably.
