Runner B1 fully painted and varnished! I decided to just go for the default paint job, couldn't work up the nerve to paint it differently. Next up I'll probably do the inner frame as a dark metallic.

Won't lie, this was a lot more work than I thought with the cleanup, but it does feel like I'm some sort of big time painter now :D maybe I should have bought some smaller alligator clips too

I bought this with the intention of painting it, but immediately got stun locked by what to paint it as. Maybe as the lesbian pride flag in honor of sule mio, but I'm not sure if a guy like me should do that. Maybe I will paint it black, that might be cool.

:) how fun! I only broke a few pieces, and the articulation doesn't feel too bad! I love the reciprocating barrel on the rifle, and it has a safety for... Some reason. I was originally going to paint it, but I want to try a entry or high grade kit first. Course I could just prime it all and paint it

The Gundam assemble minis are interesting to me, the boxart suggests something I've not seen on models before, each panel edge has like, edge lowlights. I tried to recreate this using sponge painting on this... Sky strike thingie?

Just building a little guy! I'm going to try to airbrush paint it but... How the heck do you do that? You do the skewer and alligator clips thing, but like, do you color cuffs them? Some of these bits are *not* going to come off...

Wait makeup sponge painting is cracked?!?! Just smashed out this Gundam assemble mini in like 10 minutes before work (not including the grey trim). Just bought some markers too,maybe gold trim isn't going to be awful anymore!

Yeah idk what it is with these guys but these guys trim is almost as bad if not worse than the chaos trim. It's just a lot of being careful to stay within the lines. Oh well, a rush order is a rush order!

Working my way though this Cato sicarius,*apparently* finecast non depressed sicarius is somehow better than shiny new plastic depressed sicarius. Bit I'm happy for this for a 1 hour paint job! What's left is the plasma pistol, the exterior of the cape, and some gems

Quick n clean aggressors, just have to do the not quick detail work to finish them off. I really am getting a lot of practice painting nowadays. Keeps my mind off things too.

You know, now that I've decided to stop being a coward and just send it with painting volumes (at at least attempting to) I'm feeling a lot more confident in trying things out! Just have to stay perfectly still with my lamp to try to catch the lighting in the same way

Painted this yellow fella, I'm feeling more comfortable with doing highlights! Even though I conceptually don't know where to place them, I feel like I'm doing it right which is important I think!

In all seriousness I have a new respect for tyranid painters, the carapace effect is difficult to do. Anyways, experimenting with yellow undercoats on the marine, been pretty unsatisfied with some of my previous coats

Iron hands are surprisingly difficult to paint, I tried a silver covered in black contrast paint but I think i needed to thin it more, because it didn't spray on nicely to show the silver through. Not feeling these guys, maybe I'll just do a different model and come back to them later

Wait a second, I kinda ate with this one! All that practice with skin kinda paid off as long as you don't look too close at the eyes

Thallax weapons squad! I'm going to do the same thing with my other box of them so I have the option of running a 6 man of any special weapon in addition to the lightning guns. Still not sure what I'm supposed to use these guys for though, they don't have line or vanguard, and no leader for antigrav

I go to my buddies house to build Warhammer and tell myself "I REFUSE! To take another model from him until I finish the backlog! And yet... I come home with two kill teams, a combat patrol and a box of assorted characters to paint. Why am I like this.

Done recoloring he pauldrons and leg armor of these Bob Ross armigers my commission happy friend bought. It was such a a cool idea that I talked him down from repainting them all and keeping the carapace paint job

I'll call them done here. You hed up the vials, and put some snow on the ice. I think I put too much, but eh. 10 days to finish 7 armigers, and do the shields on assault terminators. Shouldn't be too bad.
