If you asked me after first term, maybe even second, what Trudeau's legacy image would be, I'd say a guy who could help people find common ground. And if he'd be remembered as better or worse than he was, I'd say the former. Since 2021, it's been the opposite; he was a symbol of a divided nation.

Fuck it, I'm not a betting woman but I AM pretty ok with being publicly Wrong. I will, however, state for the record that in January 2023 I predicted John Tavares would become a girl dad and an ex-Leaf would get cancelled.
