I really like Prof Zimmerman’s response here, and it’s much better said than the profanity-laden rant my friends and spouse were subjected to when I saw jameson’s email.
In April the #Trump administration warned #Penn that it risked losing federal funding if it didn’t strip swimmer Lia Thomas of her records. On Tuesday, we caved, writes Jonathan Zimmerman.

Ignore any sober geopolitical analysis of "why Trump went to war." The truth? A buck-naked mad king impulsively and unilaterally dropped bombs 6.500 miles away because that's what fascist dictators always do in the end

This is Donald Trump's war, not ours. My column www.inquirer.com/opinion/dona...
A mad king’s pointless war is where Donald Trump was always heading
There is no legal or moral justification for Donald Trump's bomb strike on Iran, just the ego of an increasingly delusional president.

I want them all unmasked. I want Noem, Homan, and Miller to someday be tried for their crimes against humanity. Ditto for the ICE agents and other officers who abuse innocent tourists, college students, and refugees

When all this is over, I want justice. My column www.inquirer.com/opinion/comm...
When this is over, U.S. rights abusers must be tried for crimes against humanity
Escalating reports of human rights crimes from Kristi Noem's propaganda to ICE cruelty must be wiped clean with justice.

When Donald Trump threatens student protests, consider why: throughout modern history, student movements have repeatedly been the catalyst that toppled dictatorships. Authoritarian leaders fear campus activism precisely because it works. Below is a list of 36 student-led pro-democracy movements.🧵

Not surprised but really hate to see this. I am 100% a product of the NSF REU program, I even still use methods closely related to what I learned during that first summer of research experience. Another awful choice to add to the long list of reasons why we'll lose a generation of scientists.

BBC just released damning research on AI assistants' news accuracy.

Results: 51% of AI responses had significant issues. 19% introduced errors when citing BBC. 13% misquoted or made up BBC content entirely. 🤐🤐
