TransActual's new report shows the real impact of the EHRC's interim guidance.

If the full Code of Practice becomes law, then the impact on trans people's lives will be even more devastating.

Please share these stories, and Trans+ Solidarity Alliance's briefing, with your MP ⤵️

This Open Letter to D of E urges revision of the 2026 RSHE guidance to schools. Please read + consider adding your name.

The guidance puts trans and gender non-conforming pupils at risk. Schools must be spaces where all can see themselves reflected and supported.

Add you name to the long list of educators, parents and public figures that have already done so.

Our kids were let down under Section 28. I was one of them. It scarred me deeply and I’m far from unique. We must not fail them again.

I do wonder if the 2026 RSHE guidance and the historic parallels to Section 28 might wake up some allyship among our less engaged cis LGB friends to the moment we’re now in.

There’s low awareness of this specific backslide because there’s just so much being thrown at us.
I spoke with @attitudemag.bsky.social about the government's silence on the widespread dissatisfaction with their recently published RSHE guidance.

Keep the pressure on your MP and education sec.

As a gay man who was educated in the section 28 era and experienced the dehumanising campaign against its repeal as an impressionable late-teen, I'm promising you that this is worse for trans youth than S28/2A was for us.

This will cost lives.
