worth noting: you always die from rabies. there is no not dying from rabies
"it's a horrible painful shot in the stomach and you have to get a bunch of them" is a small price to pay for NOT DYING OF RABIES but that hasn't been true for decades, it's just 2-4 regular jabs in the arm over a couple of weeks, get it if you are bitten by a feral cat or find a bat in your house.
