I absolutely love Baroness Claire Frankenstein's sarcophagus in @realgdt.bsky.social's FRANKENSTEIN. It's so beautifully designed and realized — it reminds me of Roger Corman's excellent Poe adaptation, TOMB OF LIGEIA (1964).

I absolutely love Baroness Claire Frankenstein's sarcophagus in @realgdt.bsky.social's FRANKENSTEIN. It's so beautifully designed and realized — it reminds me of Roger Corman's excellent Poe adaptation, TOMB OF LIGEIA (1964).
It feels like FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS came out roughly 12 years ago — not a knock at the movie, I like it, I'm just tired of living in unprecedented times where the cultural zeitgeist changes every 2.7 seconds.

Saw Trachtenberg confirm that PREDATOR: BADLANDS takes place after ALIEN: RESURRECTION (2381), which occurs 260 years after ALIEN (2122), meaning BADLANDS is the farthest along in both the ALIEN and PREDATOR franchises. Very interesting, and leaves the door wide open for them to explore stuff.
