I feel like the biggest contributor to this is not socializing with coworkers enough, because let me tell you, nothing will humble you more than coworkers. If you have ever went to a website to look up information on upcoming media, you are the expert hobbyist to coworkers. They do not do that.

I strongly believe that slop should only describe AI because I truly detest the word and think you should only deploy it for something utterly devoid of humanity.
You can call everything you dislike slop if you want ig but we have a word for that already and it's 'mid' which is frankly more cutting.

Every time I see someone making fun of Euphoria for being too edgy and unrealistic it's extremely funny to be bc like it's not a documentary? Also you have no one to blame but yourself if you chose to be boring in high school.

The anime hating art teacher seems like a universal experience for so many people, but all my art teachers were SO encouraging of me. I remember turning in some ridiculous guro type shit and my 9th grade teacher was like this is awesome. We are putting it in the display case outside the classroom.
