civility is so cool because you'll have a government official say "we're going to deport this guy to the slavery prison" (plausible & specific threat of violence) and a random poster say "ICE should die lol" (implausible & vague statement of preference) and the latter is what gets censured

Somehow the "We need to support policies that are popular" crowd never land on the very popular polices like "taxing big corporation more," "making health care more affordable," or "paying teachers more."

It's always just "be 10% more racist."

You don’t win politically by winning over your opponents, but by building a political bloc that can defeat them.

It certainly looks like Elon Musk’s henchmen stole all the data from the agency which protects workers rights, tried to cover it up, and then threatened to kill the guy who blew the whistle on it.

there’s a style of reporting that’s basically like “the left hasn’t been duped by the transparently bad faith framing of the right, but I, the reporter, very much have.”
