I wonder if they'll write her a song, like that Horst guy...

Raise high the Flag! Our Leader's portrait smiling
Commands the Guard to cross the Rubicon.
Comrades shot in the act of Freedom's shrine defiling,
Even in death, shall vouch for QAnon.
Ashley Babbit dishonored her service by committing insurrection against her country. While her death is absolutely tragic and I wish it hadn’t happened, the Air Force giving her honors is in itself a dishonor.

folks who are angry about at the Minister of Jobs and Families, the number to call is 819-654-5546. I made my message short - I'm calling to express my displeasure with her decision and I believe it violates the flight attendants' right to strike. The man told me their getting a lot of calls. Share!
This is the first article I've read that mentioned a lockout by Air Canada along with the strike.

"The group called Hajdu’s intervention an “unconstitutional attack on workers’ rights” and said Canada’s labour groups were unanimously calling on the federal government to withdraw its intervention."
Air Canada says CIRB ruled strike is ‘unlawful’ as union vows: ‘Not over’ - National | Globalnews.ca
The airline originally planned to resume some flights on Sunday in response to the Canada Industrial Relations Board ordering it and its flight attendants back to work.

Yesterday, assassinations notwithstanding, for the first time in months I saw light at the end of this tunnel. I'm proud of the millions saying NO KINGS, & I applaud our troops for their pathetically uncoordinated march to this maliciously compliant choice of music.
I did not edit this, this is the actual parade with the actual music being played.

Took me a bit to process how big a deal this report actually is--its thus far the only review to look at the entire body of currently available research. It took two years to conduct, stands at 1,000 pages, and completely contradicts the Cass Review and the common arguments for bans on this care.
Republicans in Utah commissioned an investigation into gender-affirming care for trans youth after banning it in 2023.

They're now rejecting the findings of that investigation which showed access to care reduced suicides and improved "positive mental health and psychosocial functioning outcomes."
Utah lawmakers’ own study found gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Will they lift the treatment ban?
The Utah Legislature's own newly-released study found that gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Now, will lawmakers lift the treatment ban?

IMO the affirmative case for religion isn't that it makes people feel better or that it's real, it's that about one third of society needs a church actively telling them to be high trust and pro social or they default to their natural state of adolf treatlerian conspiracy peasants
The answer to the woo problem is something that nobody's going to like - pushing people back to boring, mainstream religion instead of having them create their own version of Christian Science without the God parts through the Internet

Former commander of Pituffik Susan Meyers must have known that she would be fired for this.

But apparently she found there are bigger considerations at stake than keeping her command.

Question is if we'll see more of this sort in coming months?

Berlingske has obtained her leaked email

A cult classic of Canadian cinema! I should revisit this one...
"Ginger Snaps" (2000). How do I only find this film now? Great coming of age-story, very well acted by everyone, the plot keeps you guessing and the sense of humor is supreme. Indie horror done right.

The music and background match. Before I knew the morning news, my usual video became a memorable one. Helicopters, cars, and big guns were pointed at me from all over the place. Police officers looked at me with big smiles. They even said goodbye, saying they would never come back.

If Canada survives another 100 years, Manitoba's moment with Wab Kinew will feature as prominently in the history books as a bunch of other things happening right now.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Winnipeg police confirmed the identity of Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe to be Ashlee Shingoose.

Ashlee’s father Albert Shingoose had one request for Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew: sing a song.

At least on one point—we went through this after Miley's post J6 moves—there is no chain of command to worry about if the president wants to launch a nuclear attack. Just him and a phone call to the NCA.

The very worst thing our nation can do, and SecDef doesn't even get a chance to hear about it.
The absolute worst thing about this (which I was late to realize, as were a couple other who think about this stuff), worse than pseudo-PCs on signal, worse than TS on signal to Jeffery fuckin Goldberg, is we have ironclad undeniable proof there is no unified chain, not even a facade

It’s worth stating this simply: For literally anyone in the US Govt from 1945 to 2025, Signalgate would require an instant resignation—and a criminal investigation. It would be a matter of personal *honor* to resign. The fact Mike Waltz & Pete Hegseth are choosing to fight it out is a terrible omen.
