Bush went to Congress for authorization to use military force in Afghanistan and Iraq, and it was granted. Trump's actions have no congressional buy-in and are simply illegal. It's important that we all foreground this criminality, and that we insist that those responsible face justice in the future
Or just to Leavenworth. Unlike Afghanistan or Iraq, there is no congressional approval for military action. Every serviceperson who took part is liable for criminal murder. As are Hegseth, Rubio and the President.
