This little Autozam is really cool, almost as cool as the building that was built specially for Mazda's short lived M2 customisation and performance division.

Goat with a threatening aura.
You are not going to be stealing the H from those Hondas.

When did people stop aspiring to own big squishy saloon cars? Nothing quite beats a proper luxo-barge.

Very few cars I've driven have been as mind numbingly crap as the Vectra B, which is a real shame as they can look amazing. Great details on a fantastically well balanced shape.
it’s a beautiful fall day here so here are some BTCC vibes

This is reliably the best thing about Halloween every year
Japan's "Mundane Halloween" costume contest is back!

Each year website DailyPortalZ holds a contest where people dress up as something super duper ordinary.

Here's a thread of some of my favorites from the 2025 contest!

Nothing says 'a quality used car' like a nearly 20 year old Astra van with a mirror held on with gaffer tape.

Anyone in the market for a reasonably priced car? Very clean, drives really well, ULEZ exempt, MOT until February - £750 in Mid-Devon.

we don’t talk often enough in our little corner of the universe about the time Giugiaro designed pasta, “lined for maximum sauce and flavour retention…designed to remain well ‘structured’ after boiling, and to be ‘displayed’ in nouvelle cuisine dishes”

I hate ads as much as the next person. However I can also recognise a quality piece of advertising. I miss quality.

Gran Turismo 2 already had a number of weird and slightly rubbish cars. I can't wait to be throwing a Marea Weekend around Trial Mountain.

This past week has been a busy and quite stressful mess for a number of reasons, but one thing that did 'merit' a smile was spotting this exceptionally clean Astra F. Shame about the pound land wheel trims.

The only reason that I know I've seen at least one twilight movie is that I recall finding the choice of a Volvo very odd for a vampire. Otherwise totally forgettable.

What is the most unexpectedly dismal car you've owned, with no particular fault you can put your finger on?
Just a car that by all logical reason is totally fine but just can't help being miserable?
Mine is this Honda Orthia, small with a 2.0 should have been decent, was somehow just so very dull.

Yesterday I spotted one of life's absolute winners in Morrisons carpark. This must be great fun to thread between the autumn puddles. Not through though. Never through.

All hail the mighty gooch seat with easy sliding door access.
The Spacia is now officially an 8 seater again! Unfortunately the folding seat had been pushed up against something narrow while in storage in the previous owners shed - so it has developed a noticeable dent. It has now been designated the “gooch seat” until it sorts itself…

Venturi (originally founded as MVS: Manufacture de Voitures de Sport) tried hard to establish itself as a French luxury GT maker. This English-language brochure from the early '90s features the mid-engined 210hp and 260hp models, including a Spider version. #weirdcarbs
