Got it in one.
Surprising for an English man who's never seen one in the flesh. Not sure where I dragged that up from.

That's one car that completely passed me by. Got the manufacturer but not the model on the last try.
Didn't help it's in that same weird 90s colour as the Kia Rio you used to see in every scrap yard a few years back so my brain kept bouncing back to that very wrong answer.

Cut the pump but not the injectors so it was running from what was still in the lines?

It's such a shame that Mazda's early nineties madness was cut short by the Japanese economy bubble bursting. Who knows where we'd be if Autozam Efini, Eunos and M2 had time to really grow into their own crazy identities.

I've been having very bad thoughts about an X350 generation Jaguar XJ that just won't go away.

I was once briefly the unfortunate owner of a PT Cruiser convertible. The boot was shallow and the lid opened outwards and then hinged up, making it very difficult to get anything in without crouching under the lid. You could fold the seats down but there was a strut brace across the opening.

But did you have to do it so slowly that you didn't get caught speeding in Hunterville?
