I am a poet and writer with work published in The Raven Review online magazine. I write poetry that focuses on finding the beauty in pain and exploring social justice issues. Everything I create is done WITHOUT the use of AI.

What is the point of this? A picture like this means nothing without the important and exciting factor that you actually threw yourself out of a plane? Are people going to waste energy on this just to lie to themselves, or to lie on social media? Either way: I hate it! 😊🙃

My poem, "Isn't it Funny?" explores the futility of our pursuit for monetary gain over appreciating what we have around us and was published by The Raven Review.

A couple of months ago, my poem "Death in Ukraine Has Become More Accessible than Salt"--a poem I penned in 2022, was published in Black Horse Review. Seems appropriate to share this today.

Hi authors! Please remember to file a claim!
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

Andrea Gibson was Colorado's poet laureate & a national icon for the LGBTQ community.
Today, they slipped out of their cancer stricken body to become a more luminous being.
They had written a poem for the occasion which I share with you now:

Maybe Millennials are picking up “granny hobbies” like gardening, sewing and caring for chickens because we subconsciously feel that eventually one of these “once in a lifetime major events” will be the last 👀

NEW: We filed a motion for summary judgment in our case representing arts organizations against the National Endowment for the Arts — if granted, the suit could be resolved without a trial.

We have a constitutional right to express ourselves. We won't allow queer art to be discriminated against.

Friendly reminder that if you use gen AI to make your stuff, YOU did not make it. You prompted it.

A writer writes, an editor edits, an artist draws (etc). Gen AI is the antithesis of creativity.

Like, you’re not a chef, you’re presenting a (stolen) microwave meal and want applause for it.
