This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

Pure logistical and tactical stupidity to send in 500 more guardsmen to bolster 1500 already there. No National Guard units from any other state are needed in any other state. They exist to help their own state when needed.

Trump and Hegseth are responsible for the shooting of those guardsmen.

NEW data I've received: Just 5% of people detained by ICE since October 1 have had violent criminal convictions, 3/4 had no criminal convictions at all. Most "criminals" had immigration, traffic, and vice offenses. Not the "worst of the worst"...
