I’m trying to convince my girls that Vanna White is a lich who has mastered the dark arts to maintain life over centuries.

They’re skeptical.

Is it just me or has Dropbox desktop syncing reliability degraded? I'm having frequent issues with conflicts and general file system shenanigans. I'm close to canceling my subscription.

Hey LinkedIn, there's not a single thing you can do to get me to install your stupid mobile app.

Also, what in the hell is a phone camera?

I often wonder what the hell is wrong with me. But I do so with greater gusto when I take extra time out of a day with no time to make a stupid invoice like this.

I should have another It Picks Colors build ready to rock by the end of this weekend. Lots of small but mighty quality of life improvements. From there, I think we'll be launching in early January.

It's my, "Old man yells at cloud moment". I'm here to complain about design systems going private and why it's dumb.

Public design systems are worth it
It’s incredibly valuable to make a design system available to all–no matter what the bean-counters say.

I'm working on an programmatic tool for creating blog post "covers". This example is the by-product of four separate processes to go from bitmap image to SVG. It was a pain in the butt–I like it though.
