one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Spending time on #rednote today and seeing how many Chinese users speak excellent English drives home again how poor the US is at teaching language. So many of us are monolingual. Waiting until high school to take French, Spanish, or German (the choices I had) is too late!
