One piece of advice about trauma i was given was: "do you treat a bite from a venemous snake by with antivenin, or by chasing that snake down, catching it, and explaining to it that you did not deserve to be bitten and demanding an apology?"
Gently, some of y’all have got to recover from being called “weird” in high school and start blocking people instead of trying to convince them you’re not. Be weird and distance yourself from the people who are too embarrassed to be weird themselves.

the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches
