My grandmother was a member of the ADL in the 50s and 60s. I am so disappointed in what it has become. This is spot on.

Think of what this says. He could have acceded. complained, claimed he had not backed down on his principles, and been secretly relieved that he was not going to be blamed for starving Americans. But, there would have been no excuse not to reopen the House and seat Grijava.
Let this sink in. The President of the United States is now appealing a court order forcing him to feed starving children.

Does no one remember Trump, in 2016, talking about the older man (whom he didn't much care for) who fell down at one of his places splitting his head open? Trump's only observation was that his blood got all over his white marble floor.
It is clearly deeply annoying for a sociopath when a human collapses nearby and distracts attention from him.

This guy sounds like he is channeling George Costanza.
The defense team presses Lairmore on whether the sandwich really 'exploded.' They return to the photo of the sandwich and wrapper on the ground.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

If you’re ok with vouchers being used for ski trips or piano lessons but not ok with SNAP benefits being used for pizza or cupcakes, it’s not the use of public money you have a problem with.
