The other reality is that even if it is expensive, you buy a robot once, and then all there is is maintenance. You don't have the continual expenses of human workers. A good model is cash machines. Walk into any bank and see how many tellers there are compared to how many teller windows.

There won't be a pardon until the end of his term. If she applies pressure, she gets transferred back to the prison she was in previously. Being able to stay where she is is what keeps her in line.

I am kind of curious about NY21, Elise Stefanik's district. It had lots of hovels with big Trump flags out front, but also has lots of Blue pockets. No Democrat opposed her in 2024, but I suspect that a lot of her voters are feeling the bite of the shut down and R policies. Could be an opening.

I'm glad he said it now. Now, when the actual -not cloture - vote happens in the Senate, the Eight will not be able to act like they are surprised.
