Reports that Israel had set up drone bases in Iran. If accurate then this, along with Ukraine’s use of truck-transported-and-delivered drones highlights possibility vulnerabilities of U.S. homeland bases to attack.

Yes! Now it seems like what is happening might be getting through to the Dems.. at least some of them..
Chris Murphy: "We can't be preparing for the 2026 election. It might not come. All of our focus right now has to be on protecting the democracy, about stopping the corruption."

The CBO says the current GOP budget bill would add so much to the national debt that it could force nearly $500 billion in cuts to Medicare beginning in 2026.
The CBO just released a score on Republicans' existing mega-package and found that the GOP budget plan would increase the deficit by $2.3 trillion over a decade.

It would boost the incomes of the richest 10% of Americans while lowering the incomes of the lowest 10%.

Unsurprisingly, there's no signed document sealing the trade deal with the UK. Trump can withdraw these concessions at any time.

“How much legal structure will this deal have?” a trade lawyer asked an FT journalist, gesturing to a table. “About the same as this napkin.”

Yes! Exactly.
Goldman: "The notion that bc he won an election that he should be able to ignore the Constitution or violate our laws is preposterous. Every president wins an election. That does not mean they get to just make up whatever laws they want ... Donald Trump does not get to decide what the law is."

Hey Mark, why dont you disperse all of your money to me and I will replace it with Monopoly money BUT I will give you 5 times as much Monopoly money. Same thing right? Bonus: you can add me to your list of real friends.

Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this:

"I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

Our society is broken. It was broken before Trump arrived. He arrived because it was broken. He will break it further. And when he departs it will not fix any of the underlying problems. (But there is no way we can begin to fix them until he is gone.)
The 19 richest U.S. households saw a $1 trillion wealth increase in 2024, a rise that exceeds the size of Switzerland’s economy.

These 19 households now control $2.6 trillion in wealth — almost as much wealth as the bottom 50% of American households.

If this isn't an oligarchy, what is?
