i climbed over a fence to put rubbish in a bin, caught my foot in the top, twisted my knee. there was a way around the fence under ten steps away. my knee still hurts in the cold, twenty years later.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

extending the idea to cover "underflow", where you can borrow against future Flow wins to cover a shortfall, but if you don't repay the debt before the structured sequence ends, or if you exceed your Flow stat with Underflow, you take damage.

I interviewed Steve Dee back in 2020, and he was sharp, erudite, and wise. Relics is an astonishing game, and his thoughts on game design were always on point. His loss is a terrific blow to the global TTRPG scene.
I just found out an old friend of mine passed away suddenly. Steve Dee was at first a hero of mine — one of my favourite TTRPG writers, especially for his work on WFRP2e — until I reached out to him and we became friends.

i'm not convinced by the argument that using the aesthetic of K-pop, a very artificial and outward-looking cultural genre, as part of a ttrpg supplement produced outside of South Korea, is cultural appropriation. it might be a bad idea for other reasons, but it's not even in a top ten of shit ideas.
