I'm conducting an experiment. I'm conscious that my husband either doesn't listen to me or take notice of me most of the time, so I'm seeing how many more piercings I can get before he says something. I'm at 2 so far. If he has noticed he's not said anything.

I feel this way about my mall job in the mid-90s. No tech, just sitting at a kiosk watching people for *hours* every day… an amazing experience.
As a kid, I probably learned more about psychology and human behavior…in diners and cafe’s like this one…where my daughter and I had dinner tonight…than I did in grad school. Watching…listening…and detecting patterns. A cafe is like a school of higher learning…if you want it to be.
