In Dublin, on Fenian Street, there's a factory that makes child sex abuse material.

You can pay it money, as a subscription, and that's one of the services it offers. This doesn't happen by mistake or because you've tricked or hacked the system.

It’s a feature.

Tonight we watched I Saw the TV Glow and with neither of us knowing anything about it before watching, I kept having to pause to excitedly tell my wife about all the Buffy references I spotted.

As we ring in a New Year, think again of the progress we haven't made as the human race - a UK Government is back to letting hunger-strikers risk death, rather than considering its own choices. Very retro.

As the New Year rings in, Palestine Action prison hunger striker Heba Muraisi will cross over into her 60th day without food. This is often the threshold where sudden death becomes imminent. Her government knows and is wilfully proceeding, just as it has with the genocide in Gaza

Last night, we had 172 minutes left to midnight. Five seasons of Fargo are now on Netflix, and the first episode is 70 minutes, so we thought we'd watch it. But as soon as we started, we realized there are no Korean subtitles available for it on Korean Netflix. Which is quite a strange choice.

Our dogwalk this morning brought us up the mountain, and to a small twig falling on our heads. #birdoftheday

We usually see a bunch of egrets, herons, and ducks on our morning dog walk. Today I spotted this comparatively large bird chilling in a tree, and I can't figure out what it is. Any #birdoftheday folks able to clue me in?

An illustrated line from the Prayer Of St. Brendan The Navigator, who is said to have travelled from County Kerry in Ireland to America a thousand years before Columbus made his journey. Trust in the darkness. 🌌

The Muppets Christmas Carol is a film I have watched every year for as long as I can remember. I'm glad to see it get more attention this year, but lately I've been thinking about one line that just doesn't hold up.

One the first anniversary of former president Yoon Seok-yeol’s attempted autogolpe, here’s a good look back at all the happened.

Once again, I’m so impressed at the resiliency and strength of Korea’s democracy. Proud to living here.

If Christmas was a thing in Lord of the Rings, I reckon Sam wise Gamgee's favorite Christmas song would be Stop the Cavalry. Maybe I'm just conflating Rosie Cotten and Mary Bradley, but I can see Sam singing it.

New interview with Korean sculptor and musician No Sooncheon. This interview focused specifically on his art, and how he incorporated music into his exhibitions. We'd need a 2nd video just to cover his work in the bands Uncle Bob and Eurasia.

Just shared the last artist interview I'm going to do for a while. I started filming this in April and only just finished this week. It's a pretty big sign it's time to take a break from them.

In This Mess by Say Sue Me popped up on shuffle today, and I remembered the first time I saw them play it live at Ovantgarde. In between songs I was chatting with a friend who has also been watching them play since 2013. Both of us instantly shut up and paid attention.
