It pains me that more people will read that copium-addled hallucination by Chait in the NYT on Mamdani’s win than will read Moxon’s excellent reflection:
Today I wrote about Zohran Mamdani's historic win, the energizing power of holding to shared principles of decency, and a taxonomy of the endlessly intertwined relationship between shame and vision. www.the-reframe.com/the-extraord...

The entire pundit class has convinced people for so long that their “analysis” was somehow necessary and valuable when in reality it was just a con game to manufacture consent for bias-confirming “strategies” that only benefited the capitalist class and guaranteed pundits career security.

Election results tonight are not just a referendum on people
disliking Trump. They’re a referendum on pluralism. The left wing politics people want is diverse and local but grounded to a shared commitment to protecting each other and lifting each other up.

Dick Cheney is among the upper echelon of people responsible for the dumpster fire we're living through today. The Patriot Act, Torture, lies about WMDs in Iraq. He was a warmonger and a war criminal.
Dick Cheney was a genuine conservative, a patriotic Republican, and a man who made hard calls in tough times, even when it meant being excommunicated from the GOP. Our thoughts are with his family.

Do any of those "critics" who wrote scathing reviews of Life of a Showgirl think they made the world a better place with their words?
Just rode the Peloton "Life of a Showgirl" ride with Ally Love and I tell you what, it was fun, positive, a room full of cyclists of all ages digging each song.

They’ll do anything they can to frame the affordability crisis as a personal failing not an economic one.
A stunning leap of logic here. A person who “works in finance” and spends $1100 a month on dining and travel is not “in line with” the rest of her generation.

I cannot understate how damaging to science that notion is. Using findings out of context is what gets you the MAHA movement. Shame on you Elsevier.
