When Trump first ran for President in 2016, I called him the Manchurian Candidate because he was so obviously more concerned with cozying up to Putin than serving U.S. interests. His efforts to destroy NATO, and his trade policy has only strengthened Russia and China, and diminished the U.S.

One point I’ve been banging on about in interviews the last few weeks is that the mere threat of the use of force by the U.S. President is illegal both under Article 2(4) of the UN Charter but also the U.S. Constitution by virtue of the Take Care Clause.

The claim by Trump and his sycophants that the U.S. has to take over Greenland to thwart Chinese or Russian control is an obvious, unquestionable lie. Trump’s mental instability accounts for it; Vance and Rubio are simply so craven and power hungry that they repeat it.
