Excited for Rams fans that they can spend another offseason explaining how they played the Super Bowl champs tougher than anyone else in the NFL playoffs.

That is a ludicrous penalty to call there. Both sides have been yapping all night!

And scoring with less than two minutes in the first half...
Rams and Seahawks scheming players open. Is that allowed?

Will be happy to never see the Microsoft AI commercial -- featuring an NFL scout who apparently has no idea how to sort and filter an Excel spreadsheet without using "AI" -- again.

To put this more bluntly, the Eagles OC job isn't as attractive as it should be because the OC is going to have a short-tempered head coach constantly looking over his shoulder.
I think we all underestimate the amount of megalomania the average offensive coach has, and I think that is a genuine problem for the Eagles. (Daboll would rather have total control of a bunch of garbage than have to collaborate.)

too much sports content these days from very smart and esteemed media professionals is kind of just like, lightly scolding fans for having a different perspective than a smart, esteemed, and, critically, impartial media professional might.

Does anyone seriously believe that this weekend’s NFC CG is the best NFL matchup of our lifetimes?
By DVOA, the NFC Championship Game is essentially the best NFL matchup of the last 47 years, and by a lot.

This is only the seventh playoff game between two teams over 30% DVOA. SB LIV (2019 KC-SF) is the one not on this table.

Rams are going to lose because, despite having the greatest quarterback who ever lived, they called six straight runs on offense, including on a third down that could have won the game.

Very frustrating to watch these teams innovating with the tush push while the Eagles basically gave up on it this year.

Is Josh Allen just white Donovan McNabb? My column:

It is a huge red flag that Nick Sirianni is apparently holding open the possibility that he will keep Patullo around. You cannot empower a new OC if the former OC is still on staff and is also clearly the head coach’s best friend in the building.

Last thought for now: at least they lost in a way that was totally predictable based on what we saw all season, so there should be no ambiguity about what the main problem was.

To make an affirmative case for Nick you have to believe that the team's obviously toxic culture was either (1) not his fault or (2) better than it would've been without him.

You need to believe that all the things his best friend, the very bad offensive coordinator, did were independent of him.

They were a bad hang all year.
Whether they won or lost this season, the Eagles were boring TV.

The Eagles deserve credit for their reputation of running like a baseball team in how power is divided. Now they need to run themselves like a soccer team in being as cold blooded and unsentimental as possible to a coaching staff that can only point to past accolades for its defense now.

I never want to hear the name Kevin Patullo ever again.

AJ has one target in 28 second-half snaps, by my count. Same as Will Shipley.

The first quarter was snappy. They got to the line fast. They were in rhythm. The second they took the lead, they turtled, just like they've done all year.
January 12, 2026 at 12:06 AM
I do not believe the Eagles have called a trick play in several years.
January 12, 2026 at 12:00 AM
The Niners know where these runs are going.

Atrocious.

Why is Herbstreit talking about Jordan Love (one playoff win) like he's Joe Montana?
January 11, 2026 at 4:26 AM
Almost impressive the way the Bears have not had a single lucky bounce.
January 11, 2026 at 3:20 AM
The officials should not be a character in the game. Why is Mike Pereira talking about them before kickoff like they’re one of the teams playing?
