That run from the Eagles was disgusting behavior. Just absolutely repulsive. Why even have a roster this good if you're doing that?

Eagles are doing the thing where their game plan wildly overcorrects in response to the opposing defense's strengths rather than just attacking.

Five first-down runs on seven tries so far for the Eagles.

Once again asking the Inquirer to display the election returns in a manner that you don't need an advanced degree to parse (and that doesn't require a accurate turnout projection to be helpful).

The advantage of a star QB on a rookie deal is that you can use draft capital on future starters (rather than on QB) and the cap savings to fill out your roster with veterans.

Instead, Commies spent draft capital to get a bunch of veterans who are washed / not difference makers.
The Eagles are currently projected to have 7 picks in the first four rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Commanders are currently projected to have 2.

Jalen is beating the blitz every time.

These refs sure are doing a lot of officiating. Is any of it good? No, but there’s at least a lot of it.

I sure am glad the unstoppable Commanders will be on national TV for their next five consecutive games.

Jalen beyond unreal today.

Adam Amin does not seem to have any idea how much time is left in this game.

Play action under center: it works!

I’m sorry, giving up on the half on the 40 with 20 seconds and two timeouts left is totally unforgivable.

Six games ago, Jalen Hurts won the Super Bowl with a different playcaller.
“It’s going to look how Jalen Hurts wants it to look.”

I stand by my overriding thesis, which is that Nick and his friends are just pretty dumb guys.
October 10, 2025 at 3:04 AM
They don’t seem like they want to play. Everything is slow, half-assed, sloppy. I think this is an overused word, but they should absolutely be embarrassed by this effort.
October 10, 2025 at 2:51 AM
That whole inning happens because an ump missed strike 3. Cool!

Does the TBS play-by-play guy ever stop speaking for one solitary second?

I previously interpreted this as a “we want to control the clock and take as much time on the ball as possible” approach. (Arguably nonsensical when you almost always have a talent advantage.) This is… something else.
Looking back at the entire Hurts/Sirianni era, the #Eagles have always been slower than almost all other teams at snapping the ball, but through 5 games, this 2025 version is an extreme outlier from all of the other 159 team-seasons in this period.

If you read this article and ask yourself questions like “what is the author’s actual thesis” and “what evidence does the author actually use to support his thesis,” you won’t find anything like satisfactory answers. www.inquirer.com/eagles/bronc...
Eagles muzzle Saquon Barkley and the run game, and it speaks volumes about Jalen Hurts
Barkley was held to a career-low nine touches in the Eagles' first loss of the season.

Fans who rationally post about what the team deserves or doesn't deserve are largely illegible to me.

I don't care about merit. I want my team to win and when it's stolen from them, I do not care about the context.

You’ve gotta be kidding me.

Power run behind 3 WRs on 4th and 1, that's why Sean McVay is the greatest coach of all time.

Brady gleefully rooting for the Bucs at this point, as you’d expect.
