1. I think it's incredibly likely he's a big step down.
2. It's interesting that he was with Fangio for 3 years in Denver and that integrated 3 rookies (Risner, Cushenberry, Meinerz).
3. QB pressure--which it seems the Vikings were particularly bad at--is a QB stat.
I looked but could not find even one person in Vikings world who was upset when they parted ways with Kuper.
I don't know anything about Chris Kuper other than Vikings podcasts & Vikings fans were celebrating when Minnesota let go of him. Not great!

The Eagles OL coach job 1999 to present:

- Held the role for a dozen years;
- Dean of NFL OL coaches, all-time great;
- Long-time college coach at the pinnacle of the NCAA.

So, I would describe the newest hire as having more than a soupçon of "fall guy" to him.

I keep reading this tweet and expecting it to say different words than it does. Like, this does not seem possible.
Sam Darnold, who barely played in 2022-23 (seven total starts), has been party to 34 wins since leaving the Jets in 2021. The Jets have 26 wins since 2021

It was cool to see Drake Maye fulfill his "new Dan Marino" destiny by losing the Super Bowl in his second season and looking bad while doing it.

Genuinely jealous of Seahawks fans. It must be incredible to see your favorite basketball team and your favorite football team win titles in consecutive seasons.

Gotta wonder if the Pats should consider an established Super Bowl winning HC to get their guys over the top now that Vrabel has firmly established he can't handle it.
February 9, 2026 at 3:23 AM
This Seahawks team is going to be one of the least deserving title winners ever but Mike Vrabel is such an unbelievable fraud as a coach that I am enjoying this.

Really enjoyed this article on Malinin and it was cool watching him go partial sicko mode:

There's no way that Nick demoted Stout or hired an OC who wanted different OL style without explicit FO/ownership approval and awareness.
He demoted him midyear 2025 (likely with mgmt OK)

I'll blame Nick Sirianni for a lot of stuff. I don't think Jeff Stoutland leaving the team is his fault.

Wow, that's crazy that the Sixers are under the luxury tax now.

John Harbaugh's first few hires really underscoring the degree to which the Ravens' front office was propping up his performance.

THANK YOU, MR. MARA. I WAS DEEPLY CONCERNED WHEN YOU LET COACH KAFKA LEAVE BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN YOU WOULD HIRE AS HIS REPLACEMENT SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE AN OLDER, SADDER (WISER) VERSION OF COACH KAFKA.
NEWS: The New York Giants are hiring Matt Nagy to be their next offensive coordinator, per source.

John Harbaugh has his new OC.

Three former head coaches on this staff, all of them were head coaches for 4ish seasons, none of them has won more than 20 games in his career.
The Tennessee Titans are hiring veteran 49ers assistant Gus Bradley as their new defensive coordinator, source confirms. Robert Saleh brings a familiar face over from San Francisco.

Eagles reached out to Gannon because they knew the idea of that guy getting credit for his scheme/personnel development would infuriate Vic into staying another year.
